TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Sober Collective (“TSC”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of our website, membership platform, and events. By creating an account or attending an event, you agree to follow these Terms.

2. Memberships

  • Free membership grants limited access to community features.

  • Paid memberships are not currently offered. If and when paid memberships become available, additional terms (covering payments, renewals, and refunds) will apply.

  • Membership is only open to individuals aged 18 years or older, as this is an alcohol-free community.

3. Events

  • Events organised by TSC are informal community gatherings in London and surrounding areas.

  • Attendance is voluntary and entirely at your own risk. TSC accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events at our discretion.

4. Community Conduct

We want TSC to be a safe, respectful space for everyone. By joining, you agree to:

  • Treat others with respect and kindness.

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour.

  • Refrain from spam, advertising, or posting inappropriate content.

TSC may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

5. Member Directory & Map

  • By creating a profile, you consent to limited details (first name, surname initial, partial postcode, age, occupation, and approximate map location) being visible to other members.

  • No full addresses are shown publicly.

  • You can adjust visibility settings in your profile at any time.

6. Liability

  • Our website, events, and services are provided “as is.”

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, TSC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify members via email or through the website.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
